L'evento della mini-serie in 12 episodi Avengers vs X-Men (Vol. II) ha prodotto l'inevitabile Tie-In, ed ecco che la Marvel ha annunciato l'uscita per Aprile 2012 di
AvX: Vs. mini serie di 6 numeri che viene indicato anche come l'unico e solo tie-in legato all'"evento" della miniserie "madre".

La mini vedrà due differenti team creativi che si cimenteranno in due sotto storie per episodio e diretto ad approfondire ed espandere alcuni aspetti che non potevano essere ricompresi nei 12 episodi della serie base.

Nel primo episodio aspettatevi un Iron Man vs. Magneto a firma Jason Aaron & Adam Kubert, ed un Cosa vs. Namor a firma di Kathryn Immonen & Stuart Immonen.

Per i seguenti tutto tace ancora.

Il senso "editoriale" della mini-serie dovrebbe essere lo stesso visto per Civil War: Front Line, ovvero un approfondimento e contrappunto alla serie base (nel caso di specie era Civil War).
