Nello scrivere fiction, il fare ricorso alle tortuosità dei viaggi nel tempo è un gioco molto piacevole ma che apre spesso enormi buchi e problemi logici e di coordinamento: se un personaggio può viaggiare indietro il tempo, non dovrebbe essere in grado di rimettere a posto tutti i problemi? ... però ... il fatto di risolvere i problemi elimina la necessità del viaggio nel tempo stesso per cui a suo modo significa che non si sia mai andati indietro nel tempo con il problema ancora lì?
... e questo è solo il primo dei problematici scenari che si pongono.
Se ne è parlato recentemente pure per gli sviluppi della serie televisiva "Heroes" ed infatti si è arrivati alla conclusione per cui sesi deve parlare di viaggio nel tempo, è bene porre alcune regole basilari.
Questo è esattamente ciò che ha fatto Duane Swierczynski con “Cable” allorchè il nostro eroe zompa su e giù nel tempo con il piccolo Bambino Messia Mutante, inseguito da Bishop/Alfiere.

Kiden Nixon, Tatiana Caban, and Bobby Soul è il cast di teenager che troveremo nella mini-erie in 6 episodi “NYX: No Way Home”: generalmente i ragazzi sono abituati ad usare i loro poteri per sopravvivere nelle dure strade di New York City e ciò li tiene piuttosto estranei alle normali vicendesuperoistiche, ma presto o tardi un incontro del genere doveva esserci, dato il livello e la quantità di soggetti superoistici nella city.
L'occasione si presenterà a Dicembre 2008 in “NYX: No Way Home” #4, quando i nostri giovani eroi si troveranno faccia a faccia con una ex X-Men, il tutto a firma Marjorie Liu e del disegnatore Kalman Andrasofszky.

Gennaio ... Frost Month!

GENNAIO ... FROST MONTH

A Gennaio 2009 i fans di Uncanny X-Men si prenderanno una dose doppia di pazzia mutante con l'uscita ssieme di Uncanny X-Men # 505 e di Uncanny X-Men Annual #2, quest'ultimo - scritto anche esso da Matt Fraction con disegni di Mitch Breitweiser ed una cover di Yanick Paquette — vedrà una storia solista di Emma Frost con riferimenti ai suoi primi anni nel Club Infernale come Regina Bianca.
Il passato di Emma verrà ulteriormente approfondito ed in esso ci saranno profondi, anche se nascosti, riferimenti ai mesi a venire nelle storie mutanti ... e non solo.

MATT, MADELYNE & .....?
Intervista a Matt Fraction

Ci sono grandi cambiamenti e sviluppi su Uncanny X-Men - la storica e principale testata mutante della Marvel, e Matt Fraction li sta cavalcando totalmente.
Sin dal # 500, gli X-Men si sono stabiliti a San Francisco; hanno aggiunto alla loro line-up dei nuovi membri ed anche vecchie minacce sembrano ritornare.

Matt Fraction si è seduto a parlare dei cambiamenti per gli X-Men nel 2009.
